If you have decided you want to join the Dfs family and find out more, you can find your ideal role using the DFS jobs tab. Search either by role or location (whichever is the most important to you) complete the application form by filling in a few personal details and career history.

If you have applied before or joined our talent pool before you can return to the job seekers log in or you can save your application to make changes at a later date.

What happens next?

With so many career paths available, the application experience may vary slightly depending on the role, but many aspects remain the same. We’ve outlined a few typical steps below to help you understand what to expect!

Ready for interview?

If your application has been shortlisted we’ll give you a call to provide more information about the role and also find out more about you. As mentioned the selection process varies depending on the role that you have applied for, but all roles will involve a competency based interview.

If successful a telephone or face to face interview will be arranged depending on the role you have applied for. During this we will run through further details of the role and also your skills and experience as we want to be sure this is the role that’s right for you, and one which will allow you to utilise all your talents and expertise. We will of course let you know exactly where to go, when to arrive and who your appointment is with – just so you can get fully prepared. And if we’d like you to give a presentation, or carry out an assessment, we’ll make sure you have plenty of notice.

After your interview

Once we’ve gone over your interview and any assessments or presentations, we’ll give you a call to talk things over. It might be that you did really well, but perhaps your skills weren’t quite right for this particular role. If this is the case, don’t worry.

We’ll most likely keep your CV in our Talent Pool, so we can contact you again if a relevant role becomes available. Likewise – please let us know if you have any feedback for us. improve our business.
