We have ambitious targets for future growth and as part of our ongoing strategic development we are looking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst for our Insight and Strategic Planning Team at our Group Support Centre in Doncaster.

Overview of the role
We are looking to recruit an experienced insight Analyst with minimum of 2 years` experience in data analysis, statistics and data modelling B2C focussed role, ideally within the retail sector. You will also have experience in measuring marketing communications and generating customer insights that are integrated with wider marketing, commercial and customer strategies, working across teams with multiple stakeholders to deliver world class insights and outcomes to achieve stretching targets.

Your Responsibilities
-Deliver customer and sales focussed insight back in to the business
-Responsible for data analysis and management to contribute to trading and performance analysis, combining the use of known data from customer database as well as online Google Analytics data
-Develop, build and conduct customer/product/campaign/sales profile analysis, identifying key trends and helping form actionable insight on issues, opportunities and performance drivers using large datasets containing a wide range of commercial and customer level data
-Specific ongoing project workstreams include Communications Framework (Trinity), Marketing campaign planning and review (performance and product recommendations)
-Support the Innovation programme by analysing known data with research data to accelerate path to market for new products, services and other opportunities
-Manage/work with external partner agency to deliver effective and consistent Marketing Test & Learn programme
-Identify areas for improvement through analysis of existing journeys and data
-Provide timely performance measurements for an agile test and learn program
-Responsible for maintenance and development of Customer Segments within customer databases as well as integration with systems of our Ad/Media partners to deliver sound measurement and evaluation programmes as well as regular monitoring/reporting of database composition
-Recommend strategies based on thorough analysis and optimisation in order to maximise revenue generation
-Identify and integrate new data sets and analysis methods to continually improve quality insights created and maximise value for the business
-Manages reporting footfall and relationship with footfall agency and internal stakeholders
-Champion/responsible for maintaining GDPR compliance and other data handling requirements
-Support Digital Marketing in execution of CRM/email activity

Our Ideal Candidate
-Be customer focussed in your outlook
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Numerate with strong Excel and Powerpoint skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience of working with Google Analytics and analytical packages such as SPSS /R/SQL /SAS /Python required. Experience with Faststats/Tableau desired but not essential
-Up to date knowledge of GDPR and other data protection/privacy issues
-Sound knowledge of how to use CRM systems and email as effective marketing channels
-A track record in understanding customer needs online and user experience
-Proven experience and track record of working with external agencies to utilise customer data to underpin advertising, marketing and commercial strategies and activation
-Ability to adapt to change, and have a strong desire to learn, develop and progress
-Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships
-Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
-Have the ability to work under own initiative and within tight deadlines
